I
don't know what to say. What should I include in the description?
Communications 101 is the best way to answer this question - Always include
the Who, What, When, Where, Why and How in your description. Think of what
would be interesting to you if you were reading the description of the event.
You can start with an inticing question (e.g. Ever wanted to provide community
service and have fun at the same time?). You can also indicate what the person
or event will provide for people that attend (e.g. - Attendees will have an
opportunity to learn more about the Domino Stacking Club and the upcoming
competitions we will be attending. Come join us for the fun).
Do I have to be affiliated with UNO to post an event?
You must be a student, faculty member, staff or alum to post events to the
calendar. Employers or recruiters looking for applicants should contact the Office of Career Development to create a job posting or gather resumes. Corporate supported personal selling
companies (MLM's and Network Marketing companies) are prohibited from posting
event information to the www.events.uno.edu calendar (contact Career Development).

What
